Franchise History
Joined the AFL as a 1966 expansion team. The 1972 Dolphins went 17–0 and won Super Bowl VII, then repeated in Super Bowl VIII. The Dan Marino era brought record-setting passing through the 1980s and '90s, and the aqua-and-orange identity remains one of football's most distinctive brands.
