Franchise History
Founded in 1959 by Ralph Wilson as an AFL charter club and playing since 1960. The Bills won AFL championships in 1964 and 1965, then made an unmatched four straight Super Bowl trips behind Jim Kelly, Thurman Thomas, and Bruce Smith. After a long drought, the franchise returned to perennial contention in the Josh Allen era.
